Application of Rod Mill

1. Reselection or magnetic separation in tungsten tin ore or other rare metal ore. In case the over-crushing, rod mill is often selected.

2. When secondary section grinding process is adopted, if the first section grind from 20-6mnm to 3-1mm adopting rod mill as the first section grinding machine has larger capacity and higher efficiency.

3. Under certain circumstances, rod mill can replace short-head cone crusher to conduct fine crushing. When the materials is soft or not very hard (especially the viscous ore),use rod mill grind19-25mm to 6-10 mesh has simple configuration than short-head cone crusher and can save costs.

Installation Instruction of Rod Mill

1. The installation position of rod milling sand concerns much with crushing machine. With different broken sites there is different installation position for rod mill and usually the rod grinders are installed in the plant or outdoor worksite.

2. Before install the rod mill, according to packing list, check all parts for any damage during transport, spare parts are included.

3. Check if all parts connection are solid and reliable, carefully check that the impeller has something else .Check for proper motor wiring and if voltage is normal.
