When hot weather comes, people can enter a cool room or turn on the air conditioner to lower the temperature. However, the stone crushers still need to run as usual in hot weather.

As the stone crusher works, it will produce much heat in the friction process of the crusher’s components whose temperature will rise fast, leading to more damage to the crusher. Therefore, it’s necessary for users to pay attention to the wear condition of the quick-wear parts of the stone crusher. What’s more, we should take measures to prevent the stone crushers from high temperature damage.

Here are the specific measures users could take when we need to operate stone crushers in hot weather:

1.Before the stone crusher runs, turn the driving wheel around for one to two circles by hand to make sure it runs flexibly. After starting the stone crusher, we can’t feed materials directly until the machine runs quite normally.

2.When the crusher is running, focus on the temperature of the bearings and make sure the bearings are lubricated in good condition. Check if there exists any noise or vibration, if the crusher is blocked by foreign matter that is difficult to be crushed and if the hammer head or any other part of the crusher is damaged.

3.Make sure the materials are fed to the stone crusher in an even way and proper proportion. Be careful that no materials that can’t be crushed are allowed into the crusher cavity like wood or metals.

4.When we adopt the dry type crushing method, we should make sure that there is little water content in the materials; when using the wet type crushing method, we should keep materials with proper moisture.
